What are Giclée Prints? Giclée use archival inks designed to last a lifetime without fading . Traditional prints fade, some colours more than others, and some can fade quite quickly. The prints by Michael McCormack are also printed on Cotton Rag paper. The paper is also archival. It is free from acid, lignin, wood dust or any contaminants which age paper prematurely. 12 colour inks are used in their reproduction providing a wide colour gamut and each print is a limited edition. They are individually numbered on the left corner, titled in the mid bottom and signed on the right.
Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity, which is also a sticker, to be put on the back when framed, and each is embossed by the artist over the edition number.
